The Les Arcs resort and its sectors
Les Arcs is a major resort in the French Alps, organized into several sectors, each with its own character.
The Les Arcs resort is part of Paradiski, one of the largest ski areas in the world, linked to La Plagne by the Vanoise Express cable car. From 1600 to over 3200 meters of altitude, the ski area spreads across several sectors, from the historic village of Arc 1600 to the wilder reaches of the valley.
Arc 1600
The historic village of Les Arcs, built at the foot of the funicular that runs straight up from Bourg-Saint-Maurice station. A friendly, human-scale family atmosphere.
Arc 1800
The largest and liveliest of the Arcs villages, with its shops, restaurants and resort activity. Ski-in/ski-out across a large part of the area.
Arc 1950
A modern village-resort, designed from the ground up for ski-in/ski-out convenience, blending reimagined Savoyard architecture with contemporary comfort. Its central position makes it a strategic point of the ski area.
Arc 2000
The highest village in the area, right at the heart of the slopes, for immediate access to the highest terrain. It's also the starting point of the legendary Aiguille Rouge descent, one of the biggest skiable vertical drops in Europe.
Peisey-Vallandry
A traditional Savoyard village with an authentic character, connected to both the Les Arcs and La Plagne ski areas via Paradiski. Wooden chalets, mountain calm and a warm atmosphere.
Villaroger
The wildest and least developed village in the area, tucked into the valley floor. This is where the legendary Aiguille Rouge descent ends — an unspoiled setting, perfect for nature lovers.
